Mildura Golf Resort

In 2012, Mildura Golf Resort embarked on a significant  redevelopment project consisting of a subdivision of 100 allotments, and a major upgrade of the golf course, which had just celebrated its centenary.

Located in an area that is semi-desert (receiving on average of just 280mm of annual rainfall), Mildura has developed because of the Murray River, which supplies irrigation water to the region’s many vineyards and fruit tree farms.  Mildura Golf Resort also relies entirely on the Murray River for its irrigation supply.

In total, Contour Golf Design Group built eight new greens and re-routed several holes. Stage 1 of the golf course redevelopment commenced in late 2011 and opened for play in April 2012. The final stage of the project (Stage 5) was completed in 2018 and included a new 18th hole and practice green.
