In addition to our work for the Tasmanian government on amendments to Tasmania golf course, Contour Golf "has (now) been appointed directly by Tasmania Golf Club to look at further improvements to the course. A preliminary Masterplan has been prepared and discussions will continue to consider what is possible for the already spectacular golf course, located as it is, on a stunning peninsula looking over Pittwater, 15 kilometres east of the Hobart CBD."

"John McCullagh, Chairman of the Yowani Board, said “of the seven architects invited to prepare Concept Plans as part of the bidding process, we received five extraordinary conceptual designs. Following an extensive and detailed due diligence process, the Board determined that one of the five proposals clearly stood out in terms of its vision for the site. "In 2013, the course underwent the most impressive refurbishment in its history. The original sand greens and artificial tee boxes made way for new grass greens and tees, designed by renowned Australian architect Ben Davey... These new renovations have given the Country Club a new lease on life, with multiple teeing positions on all holes providing golfers of all abilities an enjoyable experience."

"We LOVED this golf course. We all agreed that Mornington Golf Club is... truly an unsung hero of the Mornington Peninsula. It features the rare combination of thoughtful layout, enjoyable playability and top-notch conditioning. This was no more evident than when we approached the new 19th hole... as the combination of strategically-placed bunkers, thick bushland/rough surrounds and tricky-to-read breaks (not to mention the awe-inspiring backdrop) all add up to a serious challenge."

The Club's General Manager, Craig Murdoch, explains, ”Our new hole and the Course Master Plan highlights the commitment we have made to continually improve the golf course and add value to being a member at Mornington Golf Club".
